Data Retention Policy

Effective Date: February 24, 2026

This policy describes how long we retain data.

1. Message Metadata

Retained for up to 12 months for compliance and abuse monitoring.

2. SMS Content

Retained for up to 90 days unless otherwise required by law.

Users may delete message history from the dashboard, but regulatory backups may persist temporarily.

3. Voice Call Metadata

Retained for up to 12 months.

4. Voice Recordings (If Enabled)

Retained for up to 30 days unless:

  • User requests earlier deletion
  • Legal hold applies

5. AI Transcripts

Retained for up to 90 days for system improvement and debugging unless user opts out where available.

6. Billing Records

Retained for up to 7 years to comply with tax and financial regulations.

7. Account Deletion

If you close your account:

  • Active numbers are released
  • Messaging and voice content is scheduled for deletion within 30 days
  • Some data may be retained for legal compliance

8. Legal Obligations

We may retain data longer if required by law, regulation, subpoena, or carrier requirement.
